FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How deep do I plant my trees?
Plant your trees with an inch between the ground and the bud/graft. The graft should be an inch above ground.
When is the best time to plant my trees?
Planting season is anytime the ground is thawed between December and March. This will allow the tree to produce fiber on the roots that will help support foliage in the Spring.
When should I spray my fruit trees and what should I spray with?
Spray schedules vary depending on location. Contact your local county agent for best suited options in your area.
When should I fertilize my trees?
DO NOT FERTILIZE YOUR TREES WHEN YOU PLANT! Fertilize after you have noticed six inches of new growth.
After I receive my fruit trees how should I care for them until I am able to plant them?
If you are unable to plant your trees soon after arrival you should place them in a cool dry place where they are safe from a freeze. Also water the roots every other day.
