Last January I talked to you by phone and bought 6 peach trees with Guardian root stock.  I particularly needed Guardian because of peach tree short life here in eastern North Carolina.  I could not find any sources in North Carolina (or for that matter also in South Carolina) that sell peach trees with Guardian root stock.  You selected 3 cultivars for me:  Blaze Prince, August Prince, and Contender.  When the trees arrived in late January I immediately potted them up in 2-gal containers and mounded-up (as opposed to dug-in) the containers outside.  On March 21, I heavily pruned the trees and planted them in elevated amended sandy loam beds partially dug into the mostly clay soil.  During the growing season I pruned/thinned out branches in May, June, and July.  It is also very important to keep the immediate area around each tree weed-free and lightly cultivated

Last week I took a photo of the trees (attached).  For reference I placed a 6-foot 1x6 board against one of the trees.  Each tree has grown to over 6 feet tall, and the trunks are between 1 1/2 inches to 1 3/4 inches in diameter.  All of the trees have done quite well in spite of the hottest and driest spring and summer (through Aug 15) in recent memory.  I thank you for the choices and excellent quality trees.

You may use this email and the attached photo from me, a very satisfied customer.

Guarantee Policy
We guarantee our trees true to name which not everyone in the industry can do. We are able to do so because we are the grower and the supplier. If for some reason your trees do not leaf out in the spring, we will replace your order for half price the following year. We guarantee to ship good quality, well grown trees in good condition. Failure may result from improper planting, lack of moisture, frost, over-fertilization, etc., and we cannot guarantee continued growth after trees are planted on customers premises, as this is entirely beyond our control
